.In his continued support of our troops & their families, country artist Keni Thomas and his band, Cornbread,will perform at Kickers Country Club in Clarksville Thursday, Aug 11, at 9:00pm. Sponsered in part by 95.5 "The Wolf," and Creme Savers this show will benefit Ft. Campbell's Family Readiness Group. Thomas' debut album, "Flags of our Fathers: A Soldier's Story," was recently released on Nashville-based moraine Records. The current single, "Gloryland," is climbing Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart. Produced by Grammy award-winning producer, Brent Mahar, and noted songwriter, Mark Selby, the album is a tribute to our troops and features such guest artists as Michael McDonald, Emmy Lou Harris, Vince Gill, Kenny Rogers, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Sean Mullins and Blackhawk. Thomas is a national spokesperson for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the Hero Fund. A former Army Ranger who fought in the battle of Mogadishu, Thomas wa awarded the Bronze Star for Valor and the Infantryman's Badge. His story was recounted in the book and movie;"Blackhawk Down." Taking the Nashville area by storm with back-to-back performances, Country Artist Keni Thomas and his band, Cornbread, appear Thursday, Aug. 11 at 9:00 p.m. at Kickers Country Club in Clarksville, and Friday, August 12 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at a free tailgate party at the Hard Rock Café on Broadway in Nashville. Special Guest, "Cooter," from the original Dukes of Hazzard television series, will MC both shows and have the famed General Lee on display. Thomas’ performance at Kickers in Clarksville on August 11 benefits Ft. Campbell’s Family Readiness Group. It is sponsored in part by 95.5 "The Wolf," and Creme Savers. The next evening, August 12, Thomas rocks the Hard Rock Café on Broadway officially kicking off Champion Ford’s Tailgatin’ Giveaway. Sponsored by Cumulus Broadcasting (stations) and Champion Ford, the tailgate party, which is free and open to the public, will be held just prior to the first pre-season Titans game.
